DJ-ing has been a part of my life since the age of 13 when my parents to me on a summer vacation to visit my grandparents and extended family in Puerto Rico. It was 1985, there I stood watching in amazement as my late uncle Willy (RIP) practiced in the "marquesina" (garage) of my grandparent's house. The music was blaring and I happened to walk in just as he transitioned into "Ring My Bell." It was the first time I heard the tune: Seductive, enveloping, and captivating; I was hooked eversince! The experience was an immediate interest as I witnessed the effect that his chosen selection of tunes had on the people hanging outside on the sidewalk of his house. It was a mini-blockparty in Barrio Nin, Santurce! As with most DJ's, eventually you start to migrate and put your creativity to work. Music Production is therefore the next progressional position. Though I wish I had the time to dedicate to it, I enjoy to bounce around ideas, create my own edits and remixes, and orchestrate my very own mixes.
